Bridesmaids is a hilarious new film that features Saturday Night Live comedian a starring role. Wiig, who also co-wrote the comedy, is featured in perhaps the funniest video from the upcoming film which is known as "the airplane scene." In the movie, Wiig's character Annie is deathly afraid of flying, but she's willing to face her fear in order to fulfill her duty as her best friend Lillian's Maid of Honor.
She also doesn't want to appear weak in front of her beautiful but shallow rival Helen. However, fear can be a more powerful emotion than willpower, which is clearly demonstrated in the clip. In an attempt to get over her phobia Annie resorts to a bit of medication and a whole lot of alcohol with predictably hilarious results.
